How often should a commercial floor be stripped and refinished?
It depends on traffic and floor type. A high-traffic retail entrance may need a full strip and wax two to four times a year, while a quiet office corridor may hold a finish for a year with regular buffing. D & R Maintenance inspects the floor and sets a schedule that matches how the space is used.
Can floor care happen while the building is open?
Carpet extraction and spot cleaning can run during off-hours with minimal disruption. A full strip and refinish needs the area cleared while the finish cures, so our crews schedule that work for evenings, weekends, or holiday closures. Phones are manned 7 AM to 11 PM daily, and crews are available around the clock by arrangement.
Do you handle floor care as a one-time job?
Yes. Many Northern New Jersey facilities book a one-time refinishing before a lease showing or an inspection. Others fold floor care into a daily, weekly, or monthly cleaning program. Either way, the crew is experienced staff from a company that is fully licensed, insured, and bonded.
What floor types do you work on?
